The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) notified online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Technical Officer (Textiles). Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website- psc.wb.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 27 vacancies for technical officers. As per the schedule, the application process will commence on 12 March and the deadline for submitting the application form is till 2 April.  

To be eligible, the candidate’s age limit should not exceed 36 years. Applicants belonging to the general category will be required to pay Rs 210. SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. However, there is no exemption for SC/ST candidates from other states.

  1. Go to the official website- psc.wb.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Apply Online’ link
  3. Fill in the application form with the necessary details
  4. Pay the application fees and submit
  5. Take a printout of the same for further reference
