West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2024 - Round 1 Choice Filling Window to Close Today!

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) is set to officially conclude the round 1 choice-filling process for the NEET UG Counselling 2024 today, August 29. Verified candidates who still need to submit their choices can do so through the official counselling website.

During this phase, registered candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in West Bengal will have the opportunity to secure their preferred seats by entering their choices in order of priority. 

How to Fill Choices

1. Visit the official WBMCC website at wbmcc.nic.in.
2. Select the ‘UG Medical & Dental Counselling’ tab on the homepage.
3. Click on the "Candidate Registration and Login" link.
4. Use your registered credentials to access your counselling dashboard.
5. The total number of available seats will be displayed based on candidate eligibility.
6. Select your preferred colleges and courses in the order of your preference.
7. Review and lock the choices before the deadline.
8. Download and print the locked choices.

Following this, the other key steps of the counselling process include seat allocation and acceptance of allocated seats.

• Seat Allotment (September 2, 2024): Based on the merit list, available seats, and candidates' preferences, the counselling authority will allocate seats.
• Reporting and Admission (September 3 to September 5, 2024): Candidates allotted seats must report to the allotted college for document verification and completion of admission formalities within the specified timeframe.

The West Bengal NEET UG counselling process is a centralised platform that facilitates the admission of eligible candidates to medical and dental colleges in the state.
