WB NEET UG Counselling 2023: Choice-filling for round 1 begins today; know important dates

Candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes between 7 and 9 August from 11 am to 4 pm

The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DHFW), Kolkata will begin the choice-filling process for West Bengal NEET UG counselling 2023 for admissions to MBBS, BDS programmes in state medical, dental colleges today. Registered candidates can fill their choices on the official website- wbmcc.nic.in.

The official information bulletin reads, “It is hereby further mentioned that after the choices are placed and saved, the choices shall have to be locked by the candidates as only the locked choices for that particular round shall be processed for seat allotment as per inter-se-merit of the candidates.”

As per the official schedule, the last date to fill choices is tomorrow i.e. 2 August. The first round seat allotment result will be declared on 5 August. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes between 7 and 9 August from 11 am to 4 pm.

Online choice filling and choice locking by the successfully verified candidates- 1 August (4 pm)- 2 August

Result declaration- 5 August

Reporting and admission of allotted candidates to the allotted Institute with the requisite original document, college requisite fee and bond (once successfully re-verified they can get admitted to the allotted seat)- 7,8,9 August (11 am to 4 pm)
