UPSC reopens Engineering Services Exam application window at upsc.gov.in - How to apply

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has reopened the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam application window on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates who had earlier missed the opportunity to apply for the exam can register on the UPSC website at upsc.gov.in until November 22, 2024.

Following the conclusion of the application process, candidates will be provided the opportunity to make necessary corrections in their applications. The application correction window will open on November 23 and will close on November 29.

The decision was taken after the government decided to include Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) with its sub-cadres of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom and stores in the scheme of ESE, 2025.

Candidates who have already applied for the examination will not need to apply again. However, they will be able to make corrections in their OTR profiles during the application window from October 18 to November 22.

How to apply for UPSC ESE on official website?

Step 1: Visit the official website of upsc at upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click 'Apply Online'

Step 3: Click 'New Registration' if you are new user

Step 4: Register yourself by providing all necessary details

Step 5: Login to your account

Step 6: Fill up the application form

Step 7: Pay application fee

Step 8: Submit the application and save it for future reference
