The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for lateral recruitment of Joint Secretary and Director/Deputy Secretary level positions on contract basis. Candidates willing to apply for the positions will have to apply online at the official website of UPSC at upsconline.nic.in
The applications for the position have begun from Saturday August 17 and last date for submission of online applications is September 17, 2024.

Joint Secretary - 10 positions of Joint Secretary level rank in various ministries of the central government
Director/Deputy Secretary - 35 positions in various ministries of the central government
Selection Process
The shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview. Based on this interview candidates will be recruited. On the date of the interview candidates are required to bring a printout of their application along with other documents.
