The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) is all set to commence the UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2023 from tomorrow. Candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC IAS preliminary exam must download their UPSC Mains admit card 2023, which is available on the official website: upsc.gov.in.

In addition to the admit card, the commission has also issued essential guidelines for the examination day. The UPSC Mains Exam 2023 will be conducted over five days, with the forenoon session starting from 9 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam dates are September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24.

Guidelines for UPSC CSE Mains 2023 Exam:

1. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their e-Admit card 2023 along with the original photo identity card for entry into the examination hall.

2. Valuables and costly items are strictly prohibited within the test centre.

3. Candidates should arrive at the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time for each session. No entry will be permitted 10 minutes after the exam begins.

4. The use or possession of mobile phones, electronic devices, and communication tools is strictly banned within the examination premises.

5. Candidates with unclear photographs on their e-admit card must bring a passport-size photograph for each session along with an undertaking to appear in the examination.
