University of Delhi will commence the registration process for the first round of spot admissions tomorrow, September 18. Eligible candidates can apply for DU UG spot admissions on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal at admission.uod.ac.in.

As of September 15, the university confirmed that 72,263 admissions have already been finalised.

According to the DU UG spot admission schedule, the list of vacant seats will be published on the portal at 10AM on September 18. Candidates will be able to apply for the first spot round between 10AM on September 18 and 11.59PM on September 19.

The results for seat allotment in the first round of spot admissions will be announced at 3PM on September 21. Once the results are out, candidates must accept their allotted seats between 3PM on September 21 and 11.59PM on September 22. Colleges will begin verifying and approving online applications by 4.59PM on September 23.

The deadline for online fee payment is set for September 24 at 4.59PM.

Eligibility for Round 1 DU UG Spot Admission 2024

Candidates who have applied for CSAS UG 2024 but have not been admitted to any college by 5PM on September 17 will be eligible for the first round of spot admissions. After this deadline, the dashboard of admitted candidates will be frozen, and they will no longer be allowed to withdraw their admission.

To participate in the spot admission round, candidates must opt for ‘Spot Admission’ through their dashboard. They can only select Program + College combinations where seats are available for their category, according to the university guidelines.

Once a seat is allocated in the spot admission round, candidates are required to accept it. Failing to accept the seat will result in the candidate being disqualified from further rounds of admission. Additionally, there will be no option to withdraw or upgrade the allocated seat in the spot rounds, making the allotment final.
