- Click on the ‘UGC NET Exam City Intimation Slip’ link on the homepage.
- Login with the candidate’s application number and date of birth.
- View the UGC NET exam city intimation slip displayed on the screen.
- Download the slip and print it for future use.
UGC NET 2024 Exam Pattern and Details
The UGC NET 2024 will consist of two papers:
- Paper I: This section comprises 50 questions worth 100 marks. It evaluates teaching and research aptitude, including reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
- Paper II: Featuring 100 questions worth 200 marks, this section tests the candidate’s subject-specific knowledge.
Both papers will have multiple choice questions (MCQs) and will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. The UGC NET admit card will be released closer to the examination dates.
The UGC NET December 2024 session will take place from January 1 to January 19, 2025. The computer-based test will have a total duration of 180 minutes without any breaks between sections.
