The University Grants Commission (UGC) releases a list of massive open online courses (MOOCs) that are prepared to be made available for the January semester 2023. On the SWAYAM portal (swayam.gov.in), MOOCs are available.
The National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), University Grants Commission (UGC), and Indira Gandhi Open National University all offer the courses (IGNOU).
The MOOCs, which are a part of India's Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and aim to revive India as a major tourist and cultural destination for Buddhists, cover Buddhist history, Abhidhamma (Pali), Buddhist philosophy, and an additional course on civic involvement and social responsibility.
Almost 2 lakh students from the previous two academic years have benefited from the credit transfers for SWAYAM courses, according to information provided by the SWAYAM board.
