TNPSC 2023: Applications for direct recruitment to the post of Road Inspector opens; Know steps to apply

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites applications for direct recruitment to the post of Road Inspector in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department included in Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Engineering Subordinate Service. Candidates interested for the post can fill and submit the application form on the official website- tnpsc.gov.in.

The last date for online registration will remain active from 13 January to 11 February, 2023. The exam will be conducted on 7 May, 2023 in two shifts. Paper I will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Paper II will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. 

TNPSC with this recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 761 vacancies for the post of Road Inspector. The application correction window will be active from 16 to 18 February, 2023.

Steps to apply for TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

  1. Go to the official website- tnpsc.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, go to the ‘Recruitment’ section and then click ‘Notification’
  3. A new page will be redirected, then click on “ROAD INSPECTOR IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYAT RAJ DEPARTMENT (TAMIL NADU PANCHAYAT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING SUBORDINATE.” link
  4. Register the details and fill in the application form as required
  5. Scan and upload the required documents and pay the application fee
  6. Click ‘Submit’ and download the form
  7. Take a printout of the same for future reference

Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 150. An examination fee of Rs 100 has to be deposited at the time of submitting the online application. Candidates belonging to the reserved category are exempted from paying any fee.
