Practically, an experiential e-learning app, has launched an initiative called The Learning Lobby for to offer parents, teachers and caregivers the advice on how to create a healthier environment for their students.

A group of experts will help students, teachers and parents to navigate difficult situations through a series of webinars starting from December 2.

“Practically wants to make learning a joyful experience. Our latest initiative is aligned with this vision. With the launch of The Learning Lobby, we aim to develop an in-depth understanding of the ever-evolving needs of students, parents, and educators. We will cover issues that impact them and meticulously address them through our curated team of experts.  Awareness about emotional and mental well-being is still at a nascent stage in India, especially in the education sector but this is the right time to table it efficiently,” said Charu Noheria, co-founder and COO of Practically.

The initiative began after an internal study conducted by Practically found out the challenges educators faced after the pandemic. The findings showed that about 78% of teachers believed that the students were facing tremendous stress and boredom because of closure of schools and disruption of education. Almost 55% of educators found it difficult to achieve a healthy work-balance life as they felt constantly fatigued. More than 70% of the teachers said they needed help to adapt to the current situation and expert guidance might help them overcome the challenges better.

The Learning Lobby came as a spontaneous response to the feedback that Practically received from educators across India.

The first online session will address the importance of work-life balance in the New Normal with leadership transformation coach Rati Chandna on December 2, 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The second session will be addressed by K. Helen, who is a counsellor, and it will be on transitioning to adolescence. The third session will be conducted by Faheem Sait, a training consultant, and it will be on Smart Time Management tools for teachers.

“The Learning Lobby is a brilliant initiative by Practically. Their dedication to the overall well-being of teachers, parents, and students is extremely noteworthy. I believe that a healthy work-life balance is a need of the hour especially for teachers. The ever-evolving education space can be demanding and it is essential to follow best practices now more than ever. I am glad to be associated with Practically and I look at this opportunity as a great platform to benefit teachers and society in general,” said Rati Chandna, a leadership transformation coach.

Registration for the webinars is free. All webinars will be available on Practically’s official YouTube channel. A Q&A session will be held at the end of the livestream. The webinars will also be available for viewing later.
