The stenographer skill test has been rescheduled again. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced new exam dates on its website. The SSC Steno skill test for Grades C and D (Hindi) will be conducted on 25 April and for Grades C and D (English) will be held on 26 April 2023.
Owing to technical issues faced by candidates in the retest conducted on 10 March. “These tests will now be conducted on 25th April 2023 for Stenographer Grade C & D (Hindi) and on 26th for Stenographer Grade C & D (English),” said SSC in an official notification.
The commission explained that it had conducted the skill tests of stenographer grade C and D exam 2022 on 15 February and 16 February 2023, but due to the large number of complaints received from the candidates and feedback received from regional offices of the commission regarding the technical glitches faced during the test on 15 February, it had reconducted the test on 10 March.
However, the commission observed that candidates faced similar issues on the tests conducted on 16 February and 10 March.
“Accordingly, taking a comprehensive view of the candidates' overall interest, the Commission has finally decided to re-conduct the said skill tests for all candidates who appeared on 15.02.2023 and 16.02.2023,” SSC added.
