The registration process for General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025 will conclude on Monday October 14, at the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Candidates who have not yet registered themselves for the exam can apply online at ssc.gov.in.

Through this process, eligible candidates will be selected for recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF as Constable (GD) and as Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. A total of 39,481 vacancies will be filled through this examination.

Candidates are required to qualify in Class 10 or Matriculation examination on or before January 1, 2025 appear in the examination. 

Age Limit

Candidates must be above the age of 18 years and not more than 23 years on January 1, 2025.

Application Fee

To apply for the position candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100

However, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, women candidates ad ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation will not have to pay any application fee

How to apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on 'Apply'

Step 3: Select the name of the exam and click 'Apply'

Step 4: If you are a new user click 'Register Now'

Step 5: Register yourself

Step 6: Login to your account by providing login credentials

Step 7: Fill up the application form

Step 8: Pay application fee

Step 9: Download the filled in application and take a print out
