Steps to Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exams were conducted between September 9 and September 26, 2024, across various exam centres nationwide. This recruitment drive aims to fill Group B and Group C positions under various departments and ministries of the Government of India. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifying marks will advance to the Tier 2 examination.
For specific roles, including Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Examiner), Sub-Inspector (CBI), and others, the SSC will conduct additional physical tests and evaluate medical standards.
These positions span critical departments like the Ministry of Finance, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The Tier 1 exam was conducted as a computer-based Exam (CBE) to shortlist candidates for Tier 2. The final result will be based on the final answer key, which incorporates changes submitted during the representation process after the tentative answer key was released on October 1, 2024.
