The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension of the schedule for the special stray vacancy round of NEET UG counselling 2023. Accordingly, registered candidates can make fee payment till 3PM today through the official website, mcc.nic.in.

This decision comes in light of pending directions in a writ petition, which has prompted the counselling committee to reschedule the seat allotment result release date. 

Earlier, candidates who secured allotted seats had to report to their respective institutes between November 8 and November 15, 2023.

The registration window was accessible until 1PM today, and applicants have until 11.59PM tonight, November 7, to make their choice selections. The choice-locking process is set to commence at 4PM today, concluding at 11.59PM.

As per the seat matrix, a total of 156 vacant MBBS seats are available in various medical colleges across the country, with the highest number of seats located in Tamil Nadu.
