The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has adjusted the qualifying percentile for NEET SS 2023 Counselling special round. As disclosed in the official notice, candidates meeting NMC norms and having completed their PG degree are now eligible for participation in the forthcoming special round of NEET-SS Counselling.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, through a letter dated January 20, 2024, announced the eligibility expansion. According to the letter (No. U.12021/08/2023-MEC), candidates who have completed their PG degree as per NMC norms and appeared for the NEET-SS 2023 exam for the academic year 2023 are officially deemed ‘ELIGIBLE’ for the upcoming special round.
Importantly, NEET-SS ranks declared on October 15, 2023, remain unchanged. The initiation of Round 2 of SS counselling has faced a brief postponement.
It is crucial to note that candidature is provisional, contingent upon fulfilling eligibility criteria stated in the NEET-SS 2023 Information Bulletin and successful Face ID/ Biometric verification where necessary.
