SCERT Assam DElEd PET Result 2024 Out - Counselling Schedule and Key Details Released

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam, has officially announced the results for the DElEd Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam on September 8, 2024, can now check their results on the official SCERT website. 

Steps to Check SCERT Assam DElEd PET 2024 Result

• Visit the official SCERT Assam website at scertpet.co.in
• On the homepage, find and click on the ‘PET-2024 Results’ link.
• The district-wise merit list download option will be displayed.
• Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

The SCERT Assam DElEd PET is conducted annually for candidates aiming to enroll in the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course at NCTE recognised Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) across the state. The exam assesses candidates' aptitude and general knowledge to ensure they are prepared for a career in teaching. 

Candidates who have qualified for the PET exam are eligible for the counseling process, which will determine their admission into teacher education institutes filling 4050 seats. The Council has also published a detailed counselling schedule for all phases.

Counselling Schedule

• Phase 1 Counselling - September 24 to September 27, 2024
• Round 1 Seat Allotment Result - September 30, 2024
• Round 2 Seat Allotment Result - October 7, 2024
• Phase 2 Counselling - October 17 to October 19, 2024
• Round 3 Seat Allotment Result - October 22, 2024

The first phase counselling is set to commence today, September 24 from 3 PM till September 27, 11.59 PM.
