Keynote speaker Ratan L Sahu, principal, Dewan IHM, Meerut, said, "In such a situation, the hospitality sector is seeking more support from the government to stay afloat. The industry is pinning its hopes on the revival of domestic travel after the waning of the third wave. Stepping up to understand the changing consumer behaviour and adopting new practices will be essential to the recovery of the hospitality sector."

"The global health crisis offers a unique opportunity to rethink prevailing business models in the hospitality space. The idea is to develop experiences that satisfy the domestic needs of the communities. We need to focus on reducing losses rather than making profit. Adaptability is the key for survival and those who are seizing this opportunity are further enabling the inclusive and sustainable growth of the sector," he added.

Sachin Gupta, chancellor of Sanskriti University attended the webinar along with other experts. Piyush Kumar Jha, a professor at the varsity, made the concluding remarks.
