Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is inviting applications for the post of Trade Apprentices at its IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official SAIL website - https://sail.co.in/. 

Candidates who have completed their 12th/ITI/Diploma from a recognized board or organisation are eligible to apply for this position. The recruitment process is underway and the deadline to apply is 29 April 2023.

According to the notification, the age limit for general candidates is between 18-24 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in the upper age limit. Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement/notification before submitting the online application to ensure they meet all the eligibility criteria.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 239 posts in the organisation.

The vacancies are available in various trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Rigger, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Computer/ICTSM, Ref. & AC, Mechanic-Motor Vehicle, Plumber, and Draughtsman (civil). The duration of the training will be one year from the date of Contract creation, and the contract will be terminated automatically after the completion of the apprenticeship training period.
