The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Statistical Officer notification is out for a total of 72 posts. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the Rajasthan Statistical Officer exam 2023 from 15 September through the official website- rajasthan.gov.in.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply online by 14 October. The Statistical Officer exam 2023 will be conducted for a duration of two hours and thirty minutes. The exam will have a total of 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. There will be 40 questions from general knowledge of Rajasthan and 110 questions from the related subject. There will be a negative marking in the exam of one-third mark for every wrong answer.
RPSC has set the age criteria for the Statistical Officer to be between 21 and 40 years. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in either economics, statistics, or mathematics with a paper in statistics or commerce with statistics. Students must also possess work experience of one year and must know Rajasthani culture.
