The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the results for the second mock round of seat allotments for the 2024 counselling session, according to reports from coaching centres. Eligible candidates who cleared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main and Advanced 2024 and meet the 75% criterion can now check their projected BTech seat allotments on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in or josaa.admissions.nic.in.
How to Check JoSAA Mock Round 2 Seat Allotment Results
JoSAA has scheduled two rounds of mock allotment results based on the candidates' preferences. The top 2.5 lakh JEE Main rank holders who qualified in the JEE Advanced 2024 examination are permitted to submit their JoSAA counselling forms by June 18.
These mock allotment results help aspirants gauge their chances of securing admission to their preferred institutes and make necessary adjustments to their preferences. Through the JoSAA 2024 counselling, seats will be allocated across Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
According to the official schedule, the first round of seat allotment for BTech admissions through JoSAA 2024 will be announced at 10AM on June 20.
