How to Apply for WBJEE Counselling 2024
- Visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
- Find the ‘Candidate Activity Board’ section in the bottom of the homepage. Click on the ‘Online Registration & Choice Filling for WBJEE Counselling 2024’ link for round 1 registrations.
- Select the candidate’s registration type and enter the roll number and password.
- Fill out the online application and enter the required details in the choice filling link.
- Make a payment of the requisite application fee (INR 500).
- Save the choices entered and click on submit.
- Download a physical copy of the application for future reference.
WBJEE Counselling 2024 Schedule
- July 10 to July 21: Candidate registration, payment of registration fee, and choice filling.
- July 21: Candidates may modify and lock their choices.
- July 23: First round of seat allotment result.
- July 23 to July 29: Payment of seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission (if upgradation choice is NO or allotted in 1st choice).
- July 31: Second round of seat allotment result.
- July 31 to August 3: Payment of seat acceptance fee (fresh allottees) and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission.
- August 5 to August 7: Registration for mop-up round, payment of registration fees, and choice filling.
- August 7: Candidates may modify and lock their choices.
- August 9: Mop-up round seat allotment result.
- August 9 to August 12: Payment of seat acceptance fee (fresh allottees) and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who secured a rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 are also eligible to register for the WBJEE counselling 2024. The WBJEE counselling 2024 will include three rounds: allotment, upgradation, and mop-up.
Selection Criteria
Students will be allowed to register for the first round and the mop-up round. Colleges and courses will be allotted to students based on their preferences, WBJEE ranks, and the availability of seats.
The WBJEE 2024 seat allotment result for Round 1 will be announced on July 23, 2024. Once the candidates are allotted, they must confirm their admission by paying the seat acceptance fee and reporting to their allotted institute for document verification before the final date.
