Registration Deadline for IGNOU January 2024 Admission Extended to Feb 29 - Apply Now!

The registration window for the January 2024 session at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been extended in various degree, diploma, and certificate programmes offered in online, open and distance learning (ODL) modes. Interested individuals can complete the application process by visiting the official IGNOU website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

How to Apply for IGNOU January 2024 Session

1. Visit the official IGNOU website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the 'new registration' tab on the homepage.
3. Existing users should log in using their username and password.
4. Select desired courses and complete the admission form.
5. Upload required documents and make online payment.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Initially slated to close on January 31, 2024, the application deadline for IGNOU's January 2024 admission was later extended to February 15. Now, aspiring students have until February 29 to complete their re-registration for all programmes available in ODL and online modes for the upcoming session.

To complete the application for IGNOU's January 2024 online and ODL programmes, candidates must upload the following documents:

• Photograph (file size less than 100 KB).
• Signature (file size less than 100 KB).
• Relevant educational qualification (file size less than 200 KB).
• Experience certificate (file size less than 200 KB).
• Scanned copy of category certificate, if applicable (file size less than 200 KB).

The registration portal is accessible to both domestic and international applicants. Those seeking admission to ODL programmes should register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, while candidates interested in online mode programmes must register at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

Candidates are eligible for a full refund of the programme fee before admission confirmation. However, a deduction of ₹500 will be applied to refunds requested more than 15 days after admission confirmation.
