MHA Initiates Registration for 995 Intelligence Bureau ACIO Grade 2 Positions; Key Details

The Ministry of Home Affairs is currently accepting registrations for the Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade 2 (IB ACIO) recruitment exam 2023 for filling up 995 positions in the Intelligence Bureau. Registration is open until December 15, 2023, exclusively on the official MHA - IB website at mha.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates need a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. 
• Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old to be eligible.

Exam Fee details

• For candidates in the unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, the exam fee is ₹100. 
• All candidates must cover processing charges of ₹450. 

Additionally, payments can be made online using various methods, including SBI epay lite, debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, UPI, SBI challan, and more.

2. Click on the registration option on the homepage.
3. Fill in the registration form with your name, email id, and contact information.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
5. Complete the application form with the necessary details.
6. Upload the required documents and make the payment.
7. Download and keep a printout of the confirmation page for your records.

Selection Process

The selection process for IB ACIO Grade 2 posts is rigorous, involving three stages: Tier-1 exam, Tier-2 exam, and a final interview. The Tier-1 exam marks determine eligibility for Tier-2, and the combined marks in both tiers decide candidates shortlisted for the interview round.
