The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for regular medical posts in government-run medical institutions. As the online registration process for direct recruitment kicks off on the official website, upsconline.nic.in, interested candidates need to apply before the February 1, 2024 deadline.

This development follows the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) request to the Union health ministry to address UPSC vacancies.
Aspiring candidates should take note of the February 2 deadline for printing the completely filled online application form.
The age limit has been extended up to 5 years for SC, ST, and 3 years for OBC categories. Except for female candidates, SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability, a fee of ₹25 is applicable.
