President of India Droupadi Murmu will be presenting the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 today, 23 January.
Eleven exceptional children from different fields have been selected for this prestigious award this year. Out of the eleven 6 of them are boys and 5 are girls from different states and union territories of the country as informed by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Tomorrow, PM Modi will be interacting with the Bal Puraskar 2023 winners, according to a press statement. This award ceremony is all scheduled to take place in Vigyan Bhawan.
The Government of India confers Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) to children for their brilliant achievements.
Children falling in the age group of 5 – 18 years are awarded Bal Puraskar, for their excellence in six different categories namely, Innovation, Art & Culture, Bravery, Social Service Scholastic, and Sports.
