India Post has released the official notification regarding the recruitment of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/Mail Guard and Multi-Tasking Staff with a total of 188 vacancies from the sports quota of Gujarat Circle.
Interested candidates can apply for the abovementioned posts by 22 November 2022. To apply for the post, candidates are required to visit the official website of India Post. The application fee for the recruitment is INR 100. Candidates who belong to particular reserved categories and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed class 12 to be eligible to apply for the posts. For MTS posts, it is mandatory to pass class 10. Since it is a sports quota, candidates must have participated in several state-level sports competitions. The age of candidates should not be more than 27 years as of 25 November 2022 and the age limit for the MTS post is 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get the upper age limit relaxation.
