The State Selection Board (SSB) of Odisha Police has once again extended the deadline to apply for the Sepoy/Constable recruitment examination, 2024. This time, the application deadline has been extended following a direction from the Odisha High Court. Interested candidates can check the official notice on the official website- odishapolice.gov.in.
Earlier, the application deadline was till 13 October which was first extended up to 30 October in view of the puja vacations. As per the recent notification, candidates will now be able to apply till 15 November. The board first informed them they can submit their forms between 1 and 7 November. However, on 28 October, the court ordered an extension of the application deadline till 15 November. All candidates can now submit their forms up to 15 November, the SSB said.
As per the schedule, the application form correction window will be available from November 17 to 20, it added. Meanwhile, through a recent notice, the board informed the addition of 720 vacancies in various battalions. Now, the Odisha Police Constable recruitment exam will be held for 2,030 instead of 1,360.
