The Odisha School Education Programme Authority has initiated the online application process for junior teacher positions in primary and upper primary schools across the state. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications via the official website, osepa.odisha.gov.in.
The deadline for Odisha teacher recruitment applications is set for October 10. For candidates interested in teaching roles for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8, the examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
The age bracket specified by the authority for junior teacher posts ranges from 18 to 38 years. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 50 percent marks in Class 12 or its equivalent and possession of either a two-year diploma in elementary education, a four-year diploma in elementary education, or a two-year diploma in education for those applying for primary classes.
Candidates applying for upper primary classes should hold a graduation degree and a two-year diploma in elementary education or possess 50 percent marks in graduation or post-graduation along with a BEd degree. Alternatively, they can have a graduation degree with 45 percent marks and a one-year BEd degree.
