NIFT 2025 Registration Window Opens - Check Steps, Exam Structure & Key Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Exam 2025, which will be held on February 9, 2025. The registration process has commenced and eligible candidates can apply through the official website (exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT).

The last date to apply without giving a late fee is January 6, 2025, and an application correction window will be available from January 10 to January 12, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary edits to their submitted forms.

How to Apply 

• Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
• Click on the registration link for your preferred programme (UG/PG/Lateral)
• If you are a new applicant, complete registration to obtain the login credentials.
• Login and proceed to fill out the application form.
• Upload the necessary documents. 
• Pay the examination fee.
• Review and submit the form.
• Download and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Exam Structure and Timings

The NIFT 2025 entrance test consists of two main components:

1. General Ability Test (GAT): Applicable to all courses.
2. Creative Ability Test (CAT): Mandatory for Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) aspirants.

The GAT will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT), while the CAT will take place offline as a pen and paper-based test (PBT).
