The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 has officially commenced in Saudi Arabia, marking the start of the crucial engineering entrance examination for thousands of Indian students abroad. The examination is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), with arrangements made to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
According to an official update from the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, all necessary measures have been put in place to facilitate candidates appearing for the examination in the region. The mission also expressed its full support to the NTA and the designated examination centres, ensuring assistance is readily available for students throughout the process. It extended its best wishes to candidates, hoping for their success in the highly competitive exam.
Meanwhile, the NTA has introduced revisions to the examination centres and schedules for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 in response to multiple requests from aspirants. Several candidates had sought changes in their allotted centres due to ongoing geopolitical tensions in certain regions. Taking these concerns into account, the agency reviewed and reassigned examination centres to better accommodate students.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 is being conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination is taking place across approximately 566 centres located in 304 cities across India and 14 cities abroad, including Saudi Arabia.
This year, around 11.23 lakh candidates are appearing for the examination, making it one of the largest engineering entrance tests in the country.
