While putting forth the proposal of merger, the UGC chairman stated that the reason to merge all three national level entrance exams is to mitigate burden on students from appearing in multiple entrances. Opposing the same, students on social media pointed out at numerous technical glitches and issues occurring during JEE Main 2022, NEET 2022, CUET UG 2022 examinations this year.
