A special round of counselling has been initiated by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur for students who have qualified the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2024 from Wednesday, July 24.
Candidates wish to participate in this special counselling round can register themselves on the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
The results of the 3rd round of counselling was declared on July 18.
Candidates will be able to fill in their choices till July 26 and the results of the special round will be declared on July 27 and students will have to report to their allotted colleges thereafter.
Through this special counselling round the vacant seats at various NITs throughout the country at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal, Patna and IIIT Bhopal will be filled for the academic year 2024-25.
The examination was held online at various examination centres through a Computer-based test in a single shift. The examination consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions which was divided into four sections, namely Mathematics, Computer Awareness, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning and General English.
