The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the results for the second round of seat allotment for the 2024 admissions cycle. Aspiring fashion designers who participated in the NIFT entrance exam can now check their seat allocation status on the official NIFT admissions portal. The deadline to confirm seat allotment and pay the admission fee is July 3, 2024 (midnight).
What to Do After Checking Your Seat Allotment?
The NIFT 2024 counselling process typically involves four regular rounds and a final spot round. Each round offers candidates the opportunity to secure their desired seat based on their entrance exam performance, seat preferences, and availability.
“Correction for opting for NRI Sponsored seat will be available on 5th July, 2024 (5:00 PM) only and modification in choice filling will be available between 6th to 7th July, 2024 (upto 12:00 midnight) for 3rd Round of Seat Allocation ”, the notice further highlighted.
Following Round 2, subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be conducted if seats remain vacant. Candidates who are not satisfied with their initial allotment can participate in the following rounds.
