New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) is currently inviting applications for 450 vacant Administrative Officer (AO) posts. The application window will remain open from 1 August to 21 August 2023. This will be followed by an online examination in two phases. Tentatively scheduled on 9 September for Phase 1 and 8 October 2023 for Phase 2, the exams will have only objective, and objective as well as descriptive questions, respectively. Candidates will be selected based on the combined scores of the examination and interview.
The vacant AO (Generalists & Specialists) positions are in the Scale I cadre. To be eligible for the posts, candidates should be between the ages of 21 to 30 and have a graduate degree in any field from a recognised university, or any other equivalent degree recognised by the central government. General candidates need to secure a minimum of 60% marks in their degree examination and for reserved category candidates, the least qualifying percentage is 55.
