10 to 12 certificates will be offered by Anna University during the following 4 to 5 months. Data sciences and machine learning will be covered in the courses. Vice-chancellor R. Velraj verified it and stated that they are studying the most difficult and important subjects in accordance with the demands of the industry.
According to the same official statement, "In the first phase, we are aiming to introduce certificate courses on topics linked to machine learning and data analytics, which are in high demand right now," said Velraj. Based on how well these courses are received, the institution will provide other certificate programmes.
An Anna University professor claims that there is a high demand for skill development courses, particularly among engineering students, who want to improve their employability."We have the know-how to create the courses, make the study guides, and deliver instruction online. To increase our revenue, we aim to make the most of our resources. At first, we'll plan out quick certificate programmes that students can do in three to six months," said the professor.
