The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to start the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 counselling shortly. The MCC will publish a detailed NEET UG 2024 counselling notification and schedule soon on its official website- mcc.nic.in. 

As per reports, the NEET UG 2024 counselling date was scheduled to be announced on 24 July. On 23 July, the Supreme Court announced that the NEET UG 2024 exam will not be cancelled. Following the court's decision, education minister Dharmendra Pradhan declared that the NEET UG 2024 final results would be announced within two days. 

During the NEET counselling process, there will be four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) online counselling. The MCC will make the allotments based on the candidates' merit and choices, starting only after receiving the list, data, or information of successful candidates from NTA.

Additionally, the MCC conducts online counselling for BSc Nursing at central institutions.
