According to directions from the Supreme Court, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has added 6 seats for the NEET SS mop-up round in 2022. The Bench has ordered MCC and DGHS to fill the six seats that the petitioners had vacated in the NEET SS mop-up round of 2022–2023.
Additionally, DGHS would not consider any additional requests for the inclusion of seats from college or NEET SS applicants.
In addition, MCC has also removed one seat from the mop-up round for the NEET SS 2022 after learning about it from NU Trust Hospital in Bangalore for the DNBSS Genito Urinary Surgery (Urology) category. As a result, the MCC of DGHS has removed the seat from the NEET SS 2022 special mop-up round seat matrix.
