The DrNB (Doctorate of National Board) is a super-specialty doctoral-level programme offered by NBEMS. Postgraduates with an MD/ MS/ DNB qualification can pursue this 3-year course, while MBBS graduates can enroll in a direct 6-year DrNB programme. Admissions to these courses are through NEET-SS and NEET-PG, respectively.

NBEMS conducts the DrNB Final Examinations biannually in June and December. Trainees enrolled in these programmes receive a stipend for the entire duration of their training, in accordance with NBEMS guidelines. However, the stipend does not extend beyond the official training period, even in cases of extension due to excess leave.

The DrNB programme caters to super-specialty training in disciplines outlined in NBEMS guidelines.
