The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the tentative dates for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) and Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE 2024). NEET PG 2024 is scheduled for March 3, 2024, while FMGE 2024 will take place on January 20. However, these dates are subject to approvals and confirmations.

NEET PG 2024 will facilitate admissions to over 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma seats across 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities. The NEET MDS exam 2024 is scheduled for February 9. FMGE serves as a screening test for foreign medical graduates aiming to practice medicine in India.
