The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2022 for BDS graduates. As per the schedule, NBE FDST 2022 will be held on 20 January, 2023.

The NBE conducts the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) for Indian citizens, Overseas Citizen Of India (OCI) having primary dental qualifications awarded by dental institutions outside India. While the screening test for graduates possessing PG Diploma, postgraduate dental qualifications awarded by dental institutions outside India shall be conducted on 31 January.

Declaration of Result- 15 February, 2023

The exam consists of two question papers consisting of 100 and 150 multiple choices. FDST for BDS Graduates is divided into two question papers of 100 and 150 questions with time allocation of 120 minutes and 180 minutes respectively. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for it.

A demo test will be organised for candidates to familiarise themselves with the computer-based test format at NBEMS official website- nbe.edu.in. Candidates will be able to access the demo test from 10 January, 2023 onwards. The FDST admit card will be made available from 13 January 2023.
