The Nagaland National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) registration process is currently ongoing for Class 8 students studying in government schools. Interested and eligible students must visit the official website of Nagaland NMMS at scert.nagaland.gov.in.
The deadline to complete the registration process is 31 August 2023.
Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category and have passed Class 7 with 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for the scholarship. However, General category candidates need 55 percent marks.
The scholarship examination is scheduled for 4 November. Upon qualifying the examination, successful candidates will be granted a monthly scholarship amount of Rs 1,000 from Class 9 to 12. The scholarship aims to support and encourage students' academic excellence, providing financial assistance for education.
