The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has begun the application process for recruiting interns as part of Amrit Mahotsav. The deadline to apply for the internship programme is February 15.
There are 75 internships available in a single term of three months, from April 2022 to June 2022.
Selected candidates will be required to join the ministry in April 2022. Each intern will be engaged for a minimum period of month and a maximum period of three months.
Interns will be paid a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month and the cost of one-time air travel subject to economy class air fare between the state capital and Delhi, from the domicile state or from the college or university of the selected candidates will be provided.
Interns would be responsible for their boarding and lodging in Delhi during the period of their internship.
The selection process will be conducted online. Aspiring and eligible candidates will have to register on the internship portal and obtain access credentials to participate in the process. The selection process will consist of two stages, preliminary screening and personal interview.

A minimum of 30% of the 75 internships may be filled by women candidates. Preference will be based on academic performance assessed by percentage of marks obtained in classes XI, XII and graduation exams.
