Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission Announces 2,712 Vacancies; How To Apply

The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has started a recruitment campaign, opening doors to 2,712 job positions, including roles like Forest Guard, Livestock Inspector and Forester. Eligible candidates can apply on the official OSSSC website at osssc.gov.in.

• 1,677 posts for Forest Guard
• 719 posts for Livestock Inspector 
• 316 posts for Forester. 

Steps to apply

1. Visit the official OSSSC website at osssc.gov.in.
2. Click on the registration option on the homepage.
3. Complete the registration form with essential details.
4. Log in using the generated credentials.
5. Fill in the application form with the required information.
6. Upload necessary documents and complete the fee payment.
7. Download and retain a printout of the confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring candidates should possess a High School Certificate (Class 10) from a recognised board or institution and fall within the age bracket of 18 to 38 years. 

Selection Process

The selection process involves a written test, scheduled for February 2024 across all districts, consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Successful candidates in the written test will proceed to a physical examination.

The registration and re-registration window for new users will remain open until November 20, 2023 and the deadline for submitting applications is November 25, 2023.
