The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell in Maharashtra has disclosed the tentative schedule for the MHT CET 2024 exams. According to the released timetable, aspiring candidates can mark March 2 as the commencement date, with the exams set to conclude on May 12, 2024.
The MHT CET 2024 exam is structured to cover three major subjects—mathematics or biology, physics, and chemistry. Noteworthy is the exam paper's preparation, where a significant 20% weightage is attributed to the class 11 syllabus, while the predominant 80% is dedicated to the class 12 syllabus. As for the duration, candidates should be prepared for a 180-minute examination.
In the mathematics section, candidates stand to gain 2 marks for every correct answer, while in the physics and chemistry sections, each accurate response carries a commendable one mark. An encouraging aspect is the absence of negative marking for incorrect answers, providing examinees with a fair and positive testing experience.
