The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced an extension of the deadline for applying for the direct recruitment of Assistant Professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service. As per the latest update, candidates now have until 5PM on May 15 to submit their applications. Initially, the deadline for applications was set for April 29, 2024. Candidates can apply through the official website trb.tn.gov.in.

Selection Process
The same includes a written examination followed by interviews. The written examination consists of two papers, each carrying a specific weightage. Candidates must perform well in both the written test and the interview to secure their position.
The examination is tentatively scheduled for August 4, 2024, and the interview date will be announced later.
