The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) released the much-awaited COMEDK UGET 2024 mock seat allotment result recently for engineering courses. This gave candidates a chance to assess their potential seat allocation based on their initial college preferences before the crucial round 1 final seat allotment.
With the release of the mock seat allotment result, COMEDK simultaneously opened the first round of choice filling edit facility which allowed registered candidates to revise their college and course preferences. This crucial window allows them to refine their choices and potentially increase their chances of landing their preferred seat without any discrepancy during the official round 1 allotment. The edit facility will remain functional till today, July 11.
However, the candidates need to note that the final allotment results for the first round may change during the real allotment irrespective of whether the candidate has made changes after the mock allotment or not, as the seat allotment will be affected by changes made by other candidates.
COMEDK UGET 2024 Counselling Schedule
Allotment of seats will be done based on the UGET 2024 rank obtained by the candidate, seat preferences, and seat availability. Following the declaration of results for round 1, subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be conducted if seats remain vacant.
