Recently the La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata hosted the 22nd IC3 Regional Forum, a one day programme in its Campus on 2nd July, 2022. The IC3 Regional Forum is a series of events held in high schools across 8+ countries. The event is organised by the Leadership committees of the IC3. The main goal of this Regional forum is to bring the school leaders, principals, college counsellors, teachers along with university and industry delegates to discuss the transition phase from high school to college and beyond. The event also aims to lay major emphasis upon career, college counselling and admission practices. Nearly 150 registered delegates attended this forum at La Martiniere for Girls last Saturday. Furthermore, the event was also graced by the presence of 49 foreign and Indian university delegates for the benefit of students.
Few of the notable speakers from the event were: Mr. Ganesh Kohli Founder, IC3 Movement, India; Mrs. Ramanjit Kaur, Theatre, Film Actor & Director and Founder Director of The Creative Arts Academy, India; Mrs. Rupkatha Sarkar Principal, La Martiniere for Girls, India; Dr. Shalini Kalia, Dean, JAGSoM (VU Mumbai Campus), India; Dr. Gunjan Tewari, Counsellor, La Martiniere for Girls, India; Mr. John Stephen, Acting Principal, La Martiniere for Boys, India; Mrs. Vijaylaxmi Kumar, Principal, Asian International School, India and many other eminent personalities in the field of education. These were all insightful sessions that focused upon professional development. Additionally the forum was also an ideal occasion and opportunity to network and learn about the best practices and latest trends in career and college.
