In an important update for aspiring candidates, the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 registration deadline has been extended once again. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that candidates now have until September 2, 2024, to complete their registration. This extension follows a previous deadline of August 28, 2024, offering candidates additional time to apply. According to the official notification on the KSET website, the last date for payment of online fees is September 3, 2024. The notification also emphasises the importance of completing the application process within the newly provided timeframe.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for KSET 2024, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination if they belong to the general category. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Transgender, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) under Category-I, Category-IIA, Category-IIB, Category-IIIA, and Category-IIIB, the minimum required marks are 50%.
Importantly, there is no upper age limit for applying to KSET 2024, making it accessible to a broader range of candidates who meet the educational qualifications.
Examination Fees
With the KSET 2024 registration deadline now set for September 2, candidates are encouraged to complete their applications promptly. The examination date remains unchanged, and the test will be conducted on November 24, 2024.
