The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) extended the web options entry deadline for the Diploma CET (DCET) 2024 till 18 July by 2 pm. Candidates who have qualified the exam can exercise options of colleges and courses- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Earlier the last for Karnataka DCET 2024 options entry was 11 July which was later extended to 14 July. The seat matrix for the architect course, issued by the government on 16 July 2024, along with the seat matrix for senior diploma candidates, is available for candidates' reference. 

During the KCET option entry process, eligible candidates must select their preferred courses and colleges from the options displayed. These options are categorised by college, category, course, and discipline. It must be noted that there is no limit to the number of options a candidate can enter. Preferences should be listed in order of priority. Before making selections in the online option entry form, candidates should note the college names, courses offered, and cutoff ranks for each particular college.
